Tesla Optimus, not even out yet and already drunk?

Even before it's been released to revolutionize the world, Tesla's Optimus robot is already attracting attention, not for its qualities, but at a promotional event.
Elon Musk promises that humanoid robots will change society, starting with his model named Optimus, which Tesla has been developing for some time now. Optimus the bartender isn't about to star in the movie Cocktail. The robot's defining characteristic is its autonomy, although this feature doesn't seem likely to be demonstrated to the public anytime soon. For example, at the Art Basel international fair in Miami Beach, Florida, an Optimus bartender attracted attention for its erratic behavior, a kind of robotic malfunction that ended in a fatal fall. The video of the accident went viral; you can watch it here. Optimus the bartender: human error? The probable cause of this malfunction: the robot was being remotely piloted, and its human operator left in the middle of its mission. As proof, Optimus's arm movements before its fall perfectly mimic the removal of a virtual reality headset, a device likely worn by the pilot to control the robot. Apparently, Tesla did not properly brief its employees to avoid this kind of potentially unflattering publicity.
