On the occasion of the IFA Berlin 2026 trade show, manufacturer Hisense unveils its new Boom Bluetooth speaker lineup designed for mobility and outdoor use. Spotlight on the most compact model, the Hisense FlexBoom, which combines 80 W of power, Auracast broadcast technology, and a rugged IP67-certified design to stand out in the competitive portable audio market.
Hisense’s new Boom range offers “generous, connected and long-lasting listening, in formats suited to mobility, shared moments and larger-scale events.” The FlexBoom, the smallest of the three models offered by the manufacturer, delivers 80 W of peak power via its two speakers.
Hisense FlexBoom, rugged design and Auracast connectivity
On the design side, this compact speaker takes inspiration from industry benchmarks, featuring a woven fabric covering, silicone reinforcements to absorb shocks, and a carrying strap that makes it easier to use on the go. It offers up to 20 hours of battery life, as well as an IP67 certification guaranteeing high resistance to dust and complete water resistance. For connectivity, the Hisense FlexBoom relies on Bluetooth 5.4 and integrates Auracast technology, ideal for wirelessly synchronizing several compatible speakers simultaneously.
Hisense FlexBoom, mobile features and FM tuner
Designed for versatility, the speaker also includes microphones dedicated to handling hands-free calls. It offers different equalization modes specifically adapted to various environments (such as the bathroom or sports activities), all controllable via the ConnectLife home ecosystem. Finally, the FlexBoom features a USB-C port (for charging and music playback) as well as an integrated FM tuner.
