$4 million for Apple's founding document?

Apple's founding document could be auctioned off—for an astronomical price, of course—in early 2026.
To mark the 250th anniversary of the United States, Christie's auction house is holding a sale on January 23, 2026, in New York entitled "We the People: America at 250," featuring items that honor the spirit of American cultural history. Among these items, the Korean media outlet Arirang (corroborated by other sources) claims that the original founding agreement that led to the creation of Apple Computer in 1976 will be included. A crucial document in Apple's history, signed by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ron Wayne (who left the company a few days after signing it—a lack of foresight?). These three sheets of paper were previously auctioned in 2011 for a staggering $1.5 million, and are now estimated to fetch between $2 and $4 million. It's not surprising when you consider that anything related to Apple's history, even paperwork, generally fetches very high prices.
