New gestures to control the Apple Watch

After finger pinching, Apple's smartwatch could be controlled by a new series of hand movements.

With the latest generation of Apple Watch, a new way to interact with your device was introduced: bringing your fingers together to pinch them. A taste of the future as Apple is preparing new gestures to control its watch.

A recently published patent describes several new movements, including a closed fist which serves as a basis for other gestures, such as turning the wrist with a clenched fist , or open your hand. An example is given of scrolling through the choices on a vertical list by turning your wrist and validating by closing your fist. Another gesture mentioned is extending your fingers and sliding them from right to left and vice versa.
