CES 24 > JBL Xtreme 4: Auracast Bluetooth speaker, portable, waterproof, replaceable battery, PowerBank…

The American brand JBL, owned by the Harman group, is playing at home at the CES show in Las Vegas. On this occasion, it announces the JBL Xtreme 4 nomadic network speaker. A powerful model equipped with the Bluetooth Auracast function and maximum autonomy, in addition to being resistant to splashing water. And now, it is possible to replace your battery once it has reached the end of its life…

The JBL Xtreme 4 is undoubtedly the largest portable speaker in the JBL range, which gives it some very interesting features. First and foremost, a huge one-day battery life (24 hours). This energy reserve can also be shared with one or more mobile devices through the Power Bank function (backup battery). New, with a view to sustainable development, the battery is now replaceable on the JBL Xtreme 4 speaker.

JBL XTreme 4, stereo or Party Boost

Among other new features, we should mention the Bluetooth 5.3 LE Auracast functionality, allowing easy stereo or multiroom/multi-speaker pairing and almost unlimited numbers. Thus, it is possible to combine two JBL Xtreme 4 speakers, and more generally two Party Boost compatible JBL speakers to create a stereo audio system. Or even bring several together to increase the sound volume tenfold.

The IP67 rating means you no longer have to worry about rain, liquid splashes or even staying in water (resistance for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 m guaranteed). It is therefore possible to clean the JBL Xtreme 4 with tap water.
