Apple augmented reality headset, launching in 2023

While rumors are converging on the development of an augmented reality headset signed by the Apple firm, a release date for this future Apple product is becoming clearer.

There have been rumors for a while about a supposed augmented reality headset developed by Apple. And while these rumors of the corridors are becoming more and more numerous and present, the release date of this new device seems to be becoming clearer: end of 2022, we first thought, then beginning of 2023 according to the latest news.

The word to Jeff Pu from the firm Haitong International Securities

This latest exit range is corroborated by a recent report by Jeff Pu of Haitong International Securities. He also adds that the device's proprietary chip - a variant of the M1 chip apparently - will be a strong asset against the competition. This AR headset should be equipped with more than 10 sensors (including cameras), and Jeff Pu estimates that it will sell between 1 and 1.5 million units in the first year. Source: 9to5mac
