Foldable iPad screen, delayed

Almost confirmed for next year, the very first iPhone with a foldable screen could have been accompanied by a larger device, iPad/Mac Book, of the same kind…

Rumors have been circulating for a while about several devices with foldable screens from Apple and there was still uncertainty a few weeks ago as to which would arrive on the market first: an iPhone or a larger device like the iPad or MacBook.

And it would ultimately be the foldable iPhone that would be released first, a priori at the end of 2026, the iPad or MacBook being pushed back, as recently confirmed by analyst Jeff Pu of GF Securities (via macrumors). He explains that he has witnessed a definite progress for the production of the "iPhone 18 Fold", while affirming that the large foldable product (18.8" at the latest news) is very likely to be pushed back, whereas it was initially supposed to be produced at the same time as the iPhone.

According to Jeff Pu, this larger diagonal foldable model should be an iPad/MacBook hybrid, with a touch screen and the macOS operating system.
