On the occasion of the last MWC 2022 held in Barcelona at the end of February, beginning of March, the Chinese manufacturer Oppo presented two significant technologies in the fast charging sector: SuperVOOC 150W and SuperVOOC 240W.

The first is supported by the Battery Health Engine algorithm, and doubles the current industry standard, allowing the battery to retain 80% of its original capacity, even after 1,600 charge cycles (!), a new record in the genre. As for the SuperVOOC 240W, it is now the fastest flash charging technology on the market, allowing to charge a 4500 mAh battery from 1 to 100% in just 9 minutes.
