iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max, advanced photo/video capabilities?££££
An anonymous "leaker" recently contacted macrumors, communicating new photographic functions for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max. We learn that the telephoto lens will have an 8x optical zoom, compared to the 6x of the iPhone 16 Pro. The lens would be motorized and movable, allowing continuous zoom at several focal lengths. In the same area, a new "Pro" Camera application for capturing images, with functions that are generally found in third-party applications like Filmic Pro or Kino. Note that this could be an update to the Final Cut Camera app rather than a standalone app.

Claiming to have spotted this information in an advertisement supposedly produced to promote the new iPhones, the "leaker" finally adds that a new camera control button would appear on the top edge of the devices, in addition to the button already present at the bottom right of the iPhone 16.
