Sex lies and video, K7s and 4K Ultra HD

Cruel chronicle of the state of romantic relationships between men and women. It was 1989 and a young director by the name of Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, Erin Brockovich) made a remarkable entry into the world of cinema with Sex Lies and Video, directly Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival that same year.

After a long absence, Graham Dalton returns to his hometown and stays with John Millaney, his old friend from childhood. Under an exterior without stories, Graham has an unusual mania: collecting K7 videos on which he recorded the testimonies of women recounting their love and sexual experiences ... The arrival of Graham, as eccentric as it is attractive, will reveal the hidden facets of an unsuspected little world.

James Spader's thunderous debut

Sex lies and video was also the opportunity to discover a beginner actor, James Spader, future interpreter of Crash. To be seen again in 4K Ultra HD on February 15 at L'atelierImages via a new master presented in HDR10.
