In summer 2025, the Trump Organization proudly announced the launch of the Trump Mobile network as well as the T1 smartphone, presented as “made in the USA.” A mention later removed from the marketing material, to reflect reality.
A bad day for Donald Trump
A reality confirmed last spring by a meticulous teardown of the device by the technicians at iFixit. But we were expecting the same diagnosis from Zack Nelson of the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything, which specializes in dismantling electronic products, minus the meticulousness.
Under the pretext of an “educational” video, Zack delivers a long anti-Trump monologue that is not without humor, and even goes so far as to swap the T1 motherboard with that of the Chinese model from which it is derived, to prove that Trump’s smartphone is indeed nothing more than an existing product, simply redecorated in the colors of the President of the USA. We’ll let you discover the result in the video.
