In November 2023, Blue Eye Samurai won everyone over by being a great animated series that dazzled audiences, winning four Emmy Awards. More than three years later, which is an eternity in SVoD, season 2, out of the three normally ordered, is finally almost here. A new teaser recapping the events of the first season has been released, with a release date for season 2 of the show by Michael Green (Logan) and Amber Noizumi.

In these new episodes, it will still be about following Mizu, a mixed-race Japanese warrior whose quest for revenge will this time take her all the way to London. New friends, old enemies and her own demons await her.
See you on January 19, 2027 on Netflix for season 2 of Blue Eye Samurai. There will however only be six episodes for the show produced by Blue Spiri, 3 Arts Entertainment and Netflix Animation Studios. Let’s hope season 3, currently in production and expected for 2028, will meet that window.
