After the 750 and 450 models, Marshall expands its festive speaker lineup with the Bromley 150. More compact and easier to carry, it retains the Party series DNA: powerful 360° sound, more than 40 hours of battery life, lighting effects, and inputs for microphones and instruments.-
Taking the essential specifications of its larger siblings, the Bromley 750 and Bromley 450, but in a much more compact format, the Bromley 150 is the latest Party speaker from Marshall. Here, the British manufacturer is aiming for maximum portability so that the festive atmosphere can go absolutely anywhere, while retaining the iconic design and energy of a concert speaker.
Marshall Bromley 150, eco-responsible design and ergonomics
In terms of design, the brand remains true to its premium finishes. The sealed enclosure is made from 100% FSC-certified wood and covered in the traditional faux leather, with soft TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) protective corners. Behind the stamped metal grille, there are stage lighting effects (three presets available) that move in rhythm with the music. Very practical, the top carry handle can be recessed into the enclosure, making it easy to stack several speakers. Finally, the IP55 rating ensures increased resistance to dirt and splashes. Note that the brand is focusing on durability: the battery, protective corners, handle and even the front grille are replaceable (see photo below).
360° True Stereophonic sound and full connectivity
360° sound is provided by the patented True Stereophonic technology, relying on speakers placed at the front and rear. The speaker includes a 6.5'' woofer (16.51 cm), two 2'' full-range drivers (5.08 cm) and a 7.5'' passive radiator (19.05 cm). The whole system is powerfully driven by three Class D amplifiers (one 90 W for the bass and two 55 W units). To liven up karaoke parties or acoustic sessions, the Bromley 150 integrates two combo [abc]XLR[/abc]/6.35 mm Jack inputs. Wireless [abc]streaming[/abc] is provided by [abc]Bluetooth[/abc] 5.3 (multipoint and [abc]Auracast[/abc] compatible), while the interchangeable battery (LiFePO4 type) offers more than 40 hours of playback, with fast charging (20 minutes for 5 hours of listening).
