Only 100 grams and eye tracking
Five times lighter than the Meta Quest 3 (about 100 g on the scale), the glasses nevertheless need to be connected to an external wired 300 g box containing the battery and the powerful Snapdragon Reality Elite chip, a bit like the Apple Vision Pro. Also noteworthy is full compatibility with [abc]HDR Dolby Vision[/abc] for [abc]HDR[/abc] management and [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc] for object-based spatial audio, all for an announced battery life of 3 hours of high-resolution viewing.
VR games through to virtual monitors
In addition to the usual video platforms (Disney+, Prime Video, YouTube), the glasses make it possible to play VR games freely. Indeed, the VR Glasses run all titles in the Quest catalog and are even compatible with the Xbox Cloud Gaming service. As mentioned above, the device is also geared toward productivity: it can display several virtual monitors around you to work or connect to a PC/Mac without requiring a real physical screen (any flat surface can even be turned into a touch keyboard for the occasion).Availability announced for spring 2027.
