According to a recent study by the US streaming specialist Roku (a provider of streaming services and devices), Fast is changing how viewers enjoy video content. Defined by the study as free video content streamed live at specific times, Fast has seen increasing adoption in recent years. More than 57% of US households that streamed only ad-free content in 2020 now watch Fast. In total, 64% of US households watch Fast. Since 2020, viewing of Fast programs on the Roku channel has grown 262 times faster than the overall streaming market, according to Nielsen. Viewers feel that Fast offers more premium content than traditional TV. Half of the audience admits that Fast offers their favorite content that they enjoy watching again and again.
