Wolfs: Brad Pitt and George Clooney never leave each other

While Brad Pitt and George Clooney, the Ocean 11 tandem, is about to reunite in the film Wolfs, the two friends are already planning a sequel.

You have to believe that Brad Pitt and George Clooney are already fans of the first Wolfs opus (the spelling error in English is deliberate) directed by Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home). A project in which the actors play two lone wolves who find themselves assigned to the same job. The film is intended for cinemas initially, then for the Apple TV+ platform, and in the event of continued success would be a sequel.

Wolfs, a great extraordinary film?

Clooney specifies: “We are already talking about a sequel to this film that I made with Brad and Jon Watts. The filming was great and Jon is an extraordinarily talented guy, who is also very enthusiastic. He loves what he does and we had fun doing it. It also happens to be a great, unusual film, and it was fun to work with Brad again. We had a great time together.”

Hit in theaters, hit in streaming too

Before talking about the theatrical release of the film with great hope: “Brad and I reached an agreement to ensure that the film gets a theatrical release. At the time, this was not as popular an opinion as it is today. Although it is not yet certain, I believe that Netflix would consider buying cinemas. But if you look at the box office successes of Oppenheimer and Barbie in the cinema, you can be sure that they will be hits on streaming platforms too.

Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams and Poorna Jagannathan will also star in the film Wolfs, which will be released in theaters sometime in 2024. Source: Deadline
