It is with no small amount of pride that Nintendo announces that it has sold 3.5 million Switch 2 consoles, just four days after the machine's launch on June 5. This is the best launch ever for a Nintendo console, the manufacturer specifies.

There was little doubt that the Switch 2 would be a huge success, and visibly, the slightly higher price than usual for a machine from the brand did not put off the most hardened fans. A good start to hopefully meet analysts' forecasts, estimating that 15 million Switch 2 units will be sold in 10 months, by the end of the fiscal year on March 31, 2026.
