Impressive first trailer for Fallout, the new Prime Video sci-fi series

Prime Video has just revealed the first breathtaking and more than promising trailer for the adaptation of the eponymous video game Fallout.

Galvanizing, impressive and terribly eye-catching, these first images provide a jubilant and radical overview of a credible and terribly dangerous SF universe. The special effects look crazy, the actors inspired and the storytelling elevated. We also find in this first trailer for Fallout the gore and trash violence of the game, with some emblematic characters and monsters. High-level fan service.

Fallout, even stronger than Westworld?

And for good reason. The series was imagined by the creators of Westworld, Jonathan Nolan (who also directed the first three episodes of Fallout) and Lisa Joy. Adapted from the apocalyptic video game of the same name and the world's best-selling video game franchise, the story of Fallout takes place 200 years after an apocalypse as the inhabitants of luxurious fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated world of their ancestors. The shock is severe. They will discover a disturbed and ultra-violent universe populated by monsters and atypical characters.

In the cast, we will find among others Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight), Aaron Moten (Emancipation), Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland) or Michael Emerson (Lost, Person of Interest). Fallout will debut on Prime Video on April 12, 2024.
