Marking in many ways, the Game of Thrones series has been over for a while, but the literary saga from which it is based is still missing two books. Its author George RR Martin has a reputation for taking his time and fans can't wait any longer to wait for The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring, the last two opuses which will conclude the Game of Thrones saga.
Another hundreds of pages, really?
So, what's the news? “I wish I could write as quickly as other authors, but I'm 12 years behind on this damn novel and I'm struggling,” Martin recently declared on the Bangcast. I have about 1,100 pages written, but I still have hundreds left. It's a huge problem, I don't know why. Maybe I should have started writing smaller books from the beginning.”
The good news is that the author continues to write. The bad news is that at the same time last year, he also said he had written the same number of pages, estimating that there were still 500 to go. So be patient, and if you really can't wait, know that an AI has already written the last two novels.
