An Archive concert this evening on Arte, not to be missed

The experimental Brit's Archive, in the middle of a French tour, take a break for a live Arte Concert session in a sublime post-apocalyptic industrial setting which fits perfectly with their latest album, Call to Arms & Angels. Not to be missed this evening on Arte.

Arte's Passengers live sessions caught a big fish in their net. Nothing other than the British collective Archive, which needs no introduction and which has been flying a thousand miles above marketed musical production for years. Progressive electro, alternative rock, trip-hop... the Archive style is as unclassifiable as it deserves to be discovered in live concert (we were there two days ago...), such is the dark energy of the group, made of long rises in power and brutal ruptures, is made for the stage.

New addition to the collective, Lisa Mottram @ Pierre (Lapin) Le Bruchec

Experimental and powerful return of Archive

Following a forced break (confinement, health concerns for Darius Keeler, now recovered, founding member of the group with Danny Griffiths), this concert filmed on October 6 at the Grandes Serres de Pantin will be broadcast this evening on Arte. A magnificently lit metal setting for a group that never ceases to seek the infinite possibilities of sound and voice, and to question this increasingly divisive and desperate world.

Dave Pen @ Pierre (Lapin) Le Bruchec

Archive's French tour, with Dave Pen, Pollard Berrier and Lisa Mottram on vocals, will end on November 24 at the Accor Arena in Paris.
