Klipsch The Plus Three, new features on connectivity

The latest version of The Three Plus speaker sees the on/off, volume buttons and the set of LEDs, still placed on the upper side, return to the side of the case as on the first generation The Three. Likewise, the other notable development concerns the return of connectors to physically connect an external source. Thus, USB Type-C port, RCA stereo input (line or Phono via jumper to connect a Phono turntable) and optical input are required.

Klipsch The Plus Three, connectivity

The connectivity of the Klipsch The Three Plus speaker is also updated. Thus, Bluetooth 5.3 certification is in the program to enjoy via streaming music files stored on a suitable device: smartphone, tablet, game console, computer… Precisely, eight suitable devices can be memorized simultaneously.

New, the Broadcast functionality allows the connection of up to 10 Klipsch The Three Plus speakers to provide sound to several spaces and reinforce the power of audio reproduction. Finally, the latest from the American manufacturer can be controlled using the Klipsch Connect application.

Klipsch The Plus Three, power up

Technically, if the acoustic package of the Klipsch The Three Plus remains the same, structured around two 5.7 cm full-range speakers, a 13.3 cm woofer plus two 13.3 cm passive membranes to reinforce the impact of low frequencies, the power delivered is significantly increasing. Class D amplification now delivers 120 W peak (compared to 80 W previously). Last clarification, for flawless sound reproduction and to easily use Hi-Res Audio files, the Klipsch The Three Plus integrates a 192 kHz/24-bit DAC (digital-analog converter).

Available in walnut finish and gray or matte black fabric from mid-November. Indicative price: 399 euros.
