The latest version of The Three Plus speaker sees the on/off, volume buttons and the set of LEDs, still placed on the upper side, return to the side of the case as on the first generation The Three. Thus, USB Type-C port, RCA stereo input (line or Phono via jumper to connect a Phono turntable) and optical input are required.

Technically, if the acoustic package of the Klipsch The Three Plus remains the same, structured around two 5.7 cm full-range speakers, a 13.3 cm woofer plus two 13.3 cm passive membranes to reinforce the impact of low frequencies, the power delivered is significantly increasing. Class D amplification now delivers 120 W peak (compared to 80 W previously). Last clarification, for flawless sound reproduction and to easily use Hi-Res Audio files, the Klipsch The Three Plus integrates a 192 kHz/24-bit DAC (digital-analog converter).
