Taken by surprise, Apple accelerates on AI

Apple apparently did not expect the boom in artificial intelligence this year, and intends to catch up quickly.

According to the latest indiscretions collected by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, the manufacturer Apple is developing a wide range of features around artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, which would arrive no later than next year.

Siri, smarter version approaching

While Tim Cook claims that Apple has been working on AI for years, it seems that the company was taken by surprise by the sudden emergence of this technology at the end of 2022. Since then, Apple has been working hard to catch up lost time. Among the projects in development, a “smarter” version of Siri further integrating AI, which would be ready for 2024. Apple also wants to integrate AI into the next version of iOS, with, among other things, more interactions between Siri and the Messages application, allowing sentences to be completed automatically more efficiently.

Apple, AI on all levels in 2024

In fact, Apple is looking to add AI to as many applications as possible, for example with new functions for Apple Music to generate playlists automatically, or in Pages or Keynote where AI will assist the user in writing and creating presentations. Remember that a few weeks ago it was rumored that Apple was also working on its own GPT Chat.
