Bowers & Wilkins Serie 700 S3, zoom on the B&W HTM71 S3 and B&W HTM72 S3 center speakers

The Bowers & Wilkins Serie 700 S3 Hi-Fi and Home Cinema speaker series, as a whole, benefits from multiple developments, starting with narrower cabinets.

B&W HTM71 S3 and B&W HTM72 S3, acoustic package for center speakers Like the columns, the B&W HTM71 S3 (see photo above) and B&W HTM72 S3 center speakers accommodate a new tweeter. Decoupled on the first named and recessed on the second, it benefits from an elongated aluminum block to reduce distortion for greater speed and double fixation (compared to just one). The dome is still made of carbon.

Namely, the B&W HTM71 S3 benefits from midrange and woofer speakers equipped with an aluminum chassis. The new medium, with FST Continuum membrane, is equipped with a new spider printed in 3D on the HTM71 S3, classic spider on the HTM72 S3 (see photo below). All separated from the formwork. The woofer, also new, benefits from the latest advances in the Aerofoil membrane (layer of foam in the middle of two layers of cellulose)

Finally, for its Series 700 speakers, B&W has selected more efficient filters with specific bypass capacitors from Mundorf. As you can see, these are numerous borrowings from the 800 series.
