The reservation period for the iPhone 15 started on September 15 and Taiwanese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo already has information on the respective popularity of the four models on sale: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

We thus learn that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the most requested version, even more so than the iPhone 14 Pro Max from last year which was also one of the most popular. This is in line with Ming-Chi Kuo's predictions (see our news Apple is banking on the iPhone 15 Pro Max). The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are at the same reservation level as their predecessors, iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Finally, the iPhone 15 Pro is less successful than the iPhone 14 Pro, but Kuo explains this decline by the greater attraction of the Pro Max model.

The analyst adds that we will have to wait longer to get our hands on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the production difficulties for this model being "more pronounced than for the others", and concludes that Apple maintains its forecast of 80 million iPhone 15s distributed this year alone.
