48 Mpxls sensor also on iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus

If all the big improvements are coming to the next iPhone 15 Pro and Pro-Max, the two other less expensive models, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will not be neglected.

According to Hong Kong analyst Jeff Pu of investment firm Haitong International Securities, the two least expensive models of the upcoming iPhone 15 range - the 15 and 15 Plus - will benefit from a main camera lens of 48 Mpxls at the rear, with a three-layer sensor to capture more light and improve image quality.

iPhone 15 and 15 Plus equipped with a 48 megapixel photo/video sensor?

As a reminder, the very first 48 Mpxls sensors from Apple arrived for the first time last year on iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. It is therefore significant to see this novelty arrive so quickly on the “first price” models of the Cupertino company. Note, however, that this technology is encountering production difficulties and that these two iPhones could arrive on the market a little later than the Pro and Pro Max specimens. Source: macrumors
