Knock at the Cabin by M. Night Shyamalan: the end of the world is played out behind closed doors

A couple and their adopted daughter decide to go green for a weekend. The stay suddenly turns into a nightmare with the irruption of four visionaries convinced of the imminence of the Apocalypse. According to their extreme theories, only a sacrifice could interrupt the chaos predicted by the Bible.

Adapted from the horrific novel by Paul Tremblay, The Hut at the End of the World (2018), the new Shyamalan (Incassable, Old) once again exploits the configuration behind closed doors (The Village) in order to install his dialectic of the executioner and of the victim.

Home invasion on Apocalypse background

Of course, the border is always thin between the two and the director of The Visit should bring his singularity (and perhaps his unstoppable twists) to this home invasion which will titillate the moral conscience and raise the stakes of human responsibility .

Announced on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and DVD on June 14 at Universal, Knock at the Cabin will be augmented with outtakes, a Chowblaster commercial, behind-the-scenes footage, a focus on the 'Apocalypse, storyboard and a module entitled Kristen Cui enlightens us.
