The wait will have been long, but the Super Mario movie will finally be released on March 29th and is revealed in a simply brilliant first trailer.
Super Mario movie, once is not custom, advantage to the VF
Note that we have chosen to put the French version here, because Mario's voice is much more faithful to the video game than that of the original version, provided by Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy). Moreover, many American fans have created a small buzz, promising that they will see the VF rather than the VO (you can still see the trailer here).
Super Mario, a Shigeru Miyamoto co-production of course…
As a reminder, the film is co-produced by Shigeru Miyamoto -creative manager and legendary designer at Nintendo- and Chris Meledandri, CEO of Illumination Entertainment. Funding is provided by Nintendo and Universal Pictures, with the latter also handling worldwide cinema distribution. Finally, the production is entrusted to Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, on a script by Matthew Fogel.
