Sony didn't say when it will be released or what the retail price will be, but did introduce a new PlayStation 5 controller called DualSense Edge. Retaining the new functions of its big sister DualSense, the new joypad has the particularity of being customizable on several levels, to offer an optimized gaming experience adapted to everyone's habits.
DualSense Edge, excessive customization
It is thus possible to redefine all the buttons (for example the X becomes the O) or to deactivate some of them, as desired. The sensitivity and activity distance of the analog sticks and triggers can be adjusted, for example to improve driving precision in racing games, or shooting speed in shooting games. Profiles with your settings can be saved and are accessible via the interface directly on the controller.
DualSense Edge, two new buttons under the controller…
Note also the presence of two new buttons under the joypad, which can be redefined freely, as well as interchangeable ergonomic caps for these buttons, as well as the analog sticks. More details will be revealed in the coming months, according to Sony.
