Apple still attacking leakers

Threats continue to rain down on those who dare to steal iPhones from Apple's production lines in China.

This year is definitely not the best for the “leakers”, with yet another offensive by Apple lawyers against a Chinese citizen.

Law firm Fangda Partners in action

After sharing images of stolen Apple prototypes on social media, he received a warning letter at the end of June from Fangda Partners, Apple's Chinese law firm. The document instructs him to stop obtaining, promoting and selling “leaked” Apple devices. He is also asked to provide information on anyone who may have provided him with these products.

Underground Prototype Market

There is indeed an underground market fueled by Chinese employees of Apple and Foxconn, stealing prototypes in factories to resell them to collectors and hackers. Some of them then post images on social media, fueling the rumors that reach our ears. Source: Vice
