Laugh all you want, but the iPhone Pocket is already sold out.

Launched just a few days ago, the chic iPhone Pocket accessory from Apple and Issey Miyake is selling like hotcakes, despite the mockery that the internet has made its specialty.
On November 14th, Apple launched a designer accessory in collaboration with the Japanese label Issey Miyake, the very same label from which the late Steve Jobs obtained his famous turtleneck. The iPhone Pocket, a long, pleated piece of fabric, houses a pouch in its center for storing your iPhone, and its appearance quickly excited internet jokers, who compared it to Borat's famous neon swimsuit. The maximum suggested retail price of €250 also didn't help the accessory's appeal. iPhone Pocket, a future collector's item? But the internet and its big mouth are nothing compared to market reality, since the iPhone Pocket quickly sold out in the United States, and many sizes and colors are also unavailable in other markets (even in France). Given that it's a limited edition accessory, there's a good chance that it will be permanently sold out, which will probably make the iPhone Pocket a collector's item in the years to come.
