Matthew McConaughey at the wheel in the next Blumhouse film?

Seen in 2020 in The Gentlemen by Guy Ritchie, Matthew McConaughey, to whom we sometimes attribute political ambitions, is in full negotiations to star in The Lost Bus at Comet Films and Blumhouse.

It turns out that Paul Greengrass, director of Jason Bourne and more recently the Road House remake, is in negotiations to direct the film which could be distributed by Apple Original Films.

Brad Ingelsby was responsible for adapting the screenplay for the novel Paradise: One Town's Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire, written in 2018 by Lizzie Johnson. The story is told from the perspectives of Kevin McKay, a heroic bus driver, and Mary Ludwig, a school teacher. The tandem helped maneuver a bus full of children through a deadly fire that was turning the town of Paradise into a giant inferno. It was the deadliest fire in California history, ravaging most of the city and killing 85 people. Source: Deadline
