Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney in May?

Did a Disney pundit accidentally reveal the air date of the new Star Wars series starring Ewan McGregor?

With filming taking place last year, the Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi series could air as early as next May, according to a recent Tweet from Disney+ high-profile Brandon SanGiovanni: “Our very own Obi-Wan will say hello to you on Disney+. May 2022”.

Oups the blunder?

The message was quickly deleted (screenshot below), then SanGiovanni tried to cover his mistake by explaining that he was not talking about the series but about a comic book. But yes of course. On Disney+? And why delete the message? In short, don't be surprised if Obi-Wan arrives on Disney+ on May 4, May 4 being "Star Wars Day" aka "May the fourth" in English. Either phonetically “May the Force…” or in French “Que la Force…” be with you. In short, the real ones know.

Note that the rumor is corroborated by the Hollywood Reporter's own sources, who are generally well informed about this kind of affair.
