GTA VI: an exclusive and scatological gameplay excerpt unveiled in South Park

Grand Theft Auto VI made a surprise appearance in an episode of the animated series South Park aired last October 28, revealing 20 seconds of previously unseen gameplay centered on the environmental interaction mechanics of the future blockbuster, still expected on November 19.

At the end of October, a new episode of the series South Park included in its narrative an exclusive excerpt from the game Grand Theft Auto VI. An entirely authentic 20-second gameplay clip never seen before and carefully chosen for its... special qualities.

A rather unexpected worldbuilding mechanic

Featuring a dog defecating on a beach, the sequence is commented on by a woman who presents the game to our heroes: “The graphics are really on another level,” she says. “Do you see the worldbuilding? It’s a dog taking a dump. And people can pick up the dog’s poop. You can throw objects at the person who has the poop, and if they choose to fight back, you can pick up the poop and literally attack them with it.”

Attention to detail taken to the extreme

Ridiculous as it may be, this line perfectly describes what is happening on screen, and what it will be possible to do when you get the game in your hands. Namely, to “disarm” some poor guy who made his dog relieve itself, then pick up the poop it just dropped, to throw it right in his face. Further proof that this is indeed the game of the century.

Still scheduled for release on November 19.
