Samsung, the AI app that knows if your dog and cat are okay

South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics continues to expand its mobile wellness ecosystem, now turning its attention to our pets. Unveiled at the VivaTech trade show in Paris, a new AI-powered mobile innovation can detect certain health conditions in dogs and cats from a simple photo. Developed in partnership with the specialist company Lifet, this solution transforms the smartphone into a preventative diagnostic tool for home use, allowing owners to anticipate complications before a veterinary consultation.
At the VivaTech trade show in Paris (yes, the one where robots destroyed screens), Samsung unveiled a mobile solution for detecting various health problems in pets (dogs and cats for now) with a simple photo. Teeth, cataracts, and patella: 97% accuracy claimed. Developed in collaboration with Lifet, the app uses AI to analyze the animal and detect dental problems, cataracts, or patellar luxation. Lifet guarantees 97% accuracy, meaning you won't have to go to the vet unnecessarily and can get treatment before the problem worsens. Imminent rollout on Samsung Health and Pet Care. This feature will be available very soon with an update to the Samsung Health and Pet Care mobile apps.
