Apple iPhone XX: two sizes planned for 2027 and a second foldable model

To celebrate the twentieth anniversary of its iconic smartphone in 2027, Apple is reportedly preparing not one, but two iPhone XX models in distinct sizes. This will be a pivotal year for the Cupertino company, which should also see the arrival of a second iteration of its foldable iPhone Ultra and a more traditional iPhone 19 to balance its product lineup.
New details have emerged regarding the iPhone's 20th anniversary next year, with reports suggesting for the first time that the iPhone XX will be available in two versions. Two screen sizes inspired by the Pro line. Apple is currently working hard on the 20th anniversary model, slated for release in 2027, known among insiders as the iPhone XX, a reference to the iPhone X which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2017. We've already heard a lot about the device's unique screen, but this is the first time we've learned (via Bloomberg) that it will come in two versions, or rather two sizes, comparable to the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max arriving this year, with 6.3" and 6.9" diagonals. A classic iPhone 19 to counterbalance the price tag. Another arrival for the end of 2027 is a second generation of the foldable iPhone, the iPhone Ultra, normally expected before the end of this year. Finally, it seems that an iPhone 19 is also in the works, a slightly more traditional model to counterbalance the technological extravagance (and the price tag that goes with it) of the iPhone XX and iPhone Ultra 2.
