Awol Valerion video projectors: brand integration and new colors for the Pro 2

Awol Vision officially announces the full integration of the Valerion brand into its main product line. This restructuring is accompanied by a complete renaming of its product ranges and the announcement of new finishes for the Awol Valerion Pro 2 4K projector.
To clarify its product range, Awol Vision (see our news article "Awol Vision Aetherion Pro and Max: Ultra-Short Throw Triple Laser Reaches a New Milestone") has decided to consolidate all its video projection products under a unified brand identity, while clearly distinguishing its technologies. From now on, the manufacturer's ultra-short throw (UST) models will be grouped under the Awol Aetherion name. Meanwhile, the conventional long-throw projectors, formerly marketed under the independent Valerion brand, are now part of the Awol Valerion range. As a direct result of this reorganization, the products have changed names. The Valerion VisionMaster Max (click on the link to read the full review by AVcesar.com) is officially becoming the Awol Valerion Max, while the Valerion VisionMaster Pro 2 is being renamed the Awol Valerion Pro 2. Awol Valerion Pro 2: the projector goes colorful! Alongside this update to its product line, Awol is announcing new aesthetic options for its Awol Valerion Pro 2 4K laser projector. Previously only available in black, the device is now offered in Red Edition and Purple Edition. The manufacturer explains this move as a desire to make the projector a true design element in its own right in contemporary living spaces, rather than a device that one would try to hide at all costs. Purists can rest assured, the classic black version remains available. Awol Valerion Pro 2, Main Specifications In terms of technical specifications, the Awol Valerion Pro 2 offers enticing features (see above). It boasts a triple RGB laser light source combined with Ultra HD 4K resolution, delivering a brightness of 3,000 lumens. Color accuracy promises to cover 110% of the Rec.2020 color space, with a contrast ratio reaching up to 15,000:1 (in EBL mode) for screen sizes up to 300 inches (7.62 meters). The device boasts a full range of compatibility options, including support for Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced, and Filmmaker Mode. Powered by the Google TV interface, it also supports active 3D. Gamers haven't been forgotten either, as the manufacturer claims an input lag of just 4ms with a 1080p/240Hz signal. Available now. Suggested retail prices: • €2,279 for the Awol Valerion Pro 2 • €3,899 for the Awol Valerion Max
