TCL A65K: ultra-thin 3.1.2 soundbar optimized by Bang & Olufsen

Last month, TCL presented its new audio-video products for 2026. After our overview of the new TCL C6K Pro, TCL C7L, TCL C8L, TCL RM9L, and TCL X11L TV series, it's time to take a look at the new TCL A65K soundbar, developed in partnership with audio specialist Bang & Olufsen.
The first soundbar resulting from the partnership between TCL and Bang & Olufsen, the A65K boasts an ultra-slim design, a 3.1.2 configuration, and AI Sonic automatic calibration. This lifestyle model stands out with its height of only 50 mm, meticulous speaker integration, and a wireless subwoofer (16.5 cm driver). The A65K targets 55" and larger TVs, with a premium positioning and a clearly design-oriented focus. TCL A65K: Bang & Olufsen optimization and 3.1.2 configuration. The TCL A65K adopts a 3.1.2 channel architecture with six Racetrack-type speakers (44 x 80 mm) tuned by Bang & Olufsen engineers. Despite its very compact size, the soundbar integrates two height drivers (5 cm full-range drivers) dedicated to Dolby Atmos effects. The wireless subwoofer completes the system to reinforce the bass. The power supply is, of course, Class D for a total power output of 460 watts. TCL A65K: Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and AI calibration Sonic; Compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, the TCL A65K also benefits from AI Sonic Adaptation technology, which automatically analyzes the room's acoustics to adjust the sound output. The goal is to optimize spatialization and clarity, regardless of the listening environment. The Tutti Choral function, which synchronizes the soundbar's speakers with those of compatible TCL TVs, is also included to widen the soundstage. TCL A65K: HDMI eARC and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity; Connectivity includes an HDMI eARC input, allowing you to receive high-definition audio streams from the TV, plus an optical input for connecting an external source. Connectivity is based on the function Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless streaming. A USB-A port, which supports MP3, FLAC, and WAV codecs, allows direct playback of audio files. Expected availability in May. Suggested retail price: €299.
