Nolan's Odyssey will not last more than 3 hours, that's a promise.

Producer Emma Thomas has confirmed that Christopher Nolan's upcoming Greek mythological epic will be less than 3 hours long.
The film, starring Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Charlize Theron, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, and Himesh Patel, is still in post-production. Producer Emma Thomas specifies that she doesn't yet know its exact runtime for this reason. To date, Oppenheimer remains Nolan's only film to have exceeded the 3-hour mark. Other films have come close, however, such as Interstellar at 169 minutes or The Dark Knight Rises at 164 minutes. One rather dizzying question remains: how does Nolan intend to adapt Homer's immense poem in under 3 hours, fitting in the Trojan Horse, the Cyclops, the Sirens, Circe, Calypso, Nausicaa, Poseidon, and also everything surrounding Telemachus, Odysseus's son, and his wife Penelope? Find out in theaters and IMAX on July 15th.
