Samsung R95H Micro RGB: the new 2026 Ultra HD 4K showcase from the Korean manufacturer

Following a Samsung presentation about two weeks ago, we now know more about the specifications of the Samsung R95H Micro RGB TV series. Overview.
After launching its first 115" model this year (2025), Samsung is expanding its Micro RGB technology with two new TV series, the R85H and R95H. We'll focus on the latter here before revisiting the former in a future article. Samsung R95H: a new Micro RGB range available up to 115 inches. In France, the Samsung R95H series currently includes four models: the Samsung TMR65R95H (65", 165 cm), Samsung TMR75R95H (75", 191 cm), Samsung TMR85R95H (85", 216 cm), and Samsung TMR115R95H (75", 191 cm). To clarify, the Samsung R95H series will ultimately have five models, including the new Samsung 65R95H. (65"), Samsung 75R95H (75"), Samsung 85R95H (85"), Samsung 115MR95F (115", 292 cm)

Samsung Micro RGB: 90 µm LEDs, advanced AI and BT.2020 certified gamut££££ On the technical side, the brand reminds us that Micro RGB relies on red, green, and blue LEDs less than 100 µm in size (hence the name Micro and not Mini), each emitting its own light for ultra-precise backlight control and increased color accuracy. All of this is supported by the 4K AI Upscaling Pro, Ultimate Micro Dimming Pro, and AI Motion Enhancer Pro algorithms, responsible for refining brightness, ensuring the fluidity of the displayed signal (smoothing panning movements, for example), and precisely managing sharpness. the displayed image, all in real time. Glare Free, 165 Hz and HDR10+ Advanced: a TV built for performance. The LCD panel is 120 Hz (VRR 165 Hz) and offers DLG (Dual Line Gate) 240 Hz mode (in 1080p) and benefits from a Glare Free anti-reflective coating for perfect screen readability even in extremely bright environments. A new Micro RGB AI Engine Pro processing also makes its appearance, based on a latest-generation AI chip capable of analyzing video frame by frame. This processor notably integrates the Micro RGB Color Booster Pro and Auto HDR Remastering Pro functions, to offer a more impactful HDR rendering and colorimetry that approaches a "close to reality" perception. Namely, Samsung Micro RGB TVs support the new HDR10+ Advanced format (see our HDR10+ Advanced news: Samsung's response to Dolby Vision 2 HDR, Prime Video supports...). Samsung also highlights the Micro RGB Precision Color 100 feature, which uses triplets of superior RGB diodes for an unprecedentedly pure light source and an optimized backlighting system for each LED to ensure 100% coverage of the BT.2020 gamut, certified by the German VDE. Vision AI Companion and Eclipsa Audio: the complete Samsung 2026 experience. Beyond image quality, Samsung is capitalizing on its in-house AI portal, now grouped under the name Vision AI Companion. This multi-agent AI interface (Copilot and Perplexity) combines LLM with voice assistants. Bixby and Alexa offer conversational search, interactive Q&A, proactive recommendations, and access to features like Live Translate, Click to Search, and Generative Wallpaper (dynamic creation of wallpapers tailored to your tastes). The OTS+ 4.2.2 audio system, delivering a total power of 70W, ensures wireless Dolby Atmos compatibility and offers the brand's Adaptive Sound Pro (to adapt the sound to the room and content type), AVA Pro (Active Voice Amplifier Pro), and Q-Symphony for combining the TV's speakers with those of compatible Samsung soundbars. New to the series is Eclipsa Audio (see our CES 2025 news > Google's Eclipsa Audio, a competitor to Dolby Atmos, in Samsung TVs and soundbars by 2025), featured on the Samsung R95H Micro RGB TV series. like all Samsung TV series in the 2026 range. Finally, a Zero Gap Wall Mount is available for the Samsung R95H Micro RGB TVs, allowing you to perfectly mount the TV flush against the wall and fully appreciate the Space Graphite design. Wireless One Connect Ready: wired or wireless connectivity of your choice. New to the Samsung R95H TVs is the Wireless One Connect Ready label. This allows you to connect wired or wireless sources to these TVs, or even some wired and others wireless. All combinations are possible for total flexibility. A dual DVB-T2, DVB-S, and DVB-C2 tuner is also included. Samsung R95H Micro RGB gaming TV: VRR 165 Hz, FreeSync, G-Sync and Game Bar For video games, Samsung R95H TVs are well-equipped: ALLM, VRR, Hue Sync, AMD FreeSync or nVidia G-Sync. The Game Bar is, of course, still included for increased player immersion in the action. The TV automatically selects the appropriate audio-video settings depending on the type of game being displayed: RPG, Sports, FPS, RTS. While football games prioritize ambient sound, FPS games emphasize the details of sound that could betray the presence or movement of an enemy. Similarly, the minimap is automatically detected and can be positioned on the screen as desired. Finally, the Gaming Hub is included.

Samsung R95H Micro RGB TV, Connectivity and Connectivity The TV's connectivity options are four HDMI 2.1 inputs (one with eARC), an optical output, two USB-A ports, an Ethernet port plus a CI+ slot, and Fransat certification. Connectivity includes dual Bluetooth 5.3 LE Audio pairing, Wi-Fi 6E, AirPlay 2, and screen mirroring (TV to mobile and mobile to TV). Also worth noting are the Multiview, karaoke, and Art Store features. And let's not forget the app stores for Orange TV, Bouygues TV+, Free TV, and SFR TV.
