CES 26 > Klipsch puts on a show in Las Vegas for its 80th anniversary: new Hi-Fi and Home Cinema concepts

At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Klipsch isn't just celebrating its 80th anniversary. The American brand, now owned by Gentex, is unveiling an impressive roadmap of new products combining premium portable audio, the Auracast ecosystem, and premium Hi-Fi speakers.
While many of us wondered about Klipsch's future after its integration into the Gentex group (an American company operating in the automotive, aerospace, and fire protection sectors), the answer provided at CES 2026 is reassuring: the brand is buzzing with activity. Leveraging increased technical synergies with Onkyo (also part of Gentex), the Indianapolis-based manufacturer used the show to present, during private demonstrations, a plethora of concepts that foreshadow its 2026 lineup. Klipsch Atlas: a major offensive in the headphone market. This is undoubtedly the most notable announcement of CES 2026 for the brand: Klipsch is entering the high-end Hi-Fi headphone segment with the new Atlas series. While this latest model claims a direct lineage with the Heritage era, it also embraces a decidedly modern approach, offered in three models: • Klipsch Atlas HP-1: closed-back, circumaural, wireless headphones with Spatial Audio compatibility and active noise cancellation (ANC), designed for travelers. Its distinguishing feature? A coaxial driver architecture to preserve the signature sound in an ultra-lightweight format, not to mention long battery life. • Klipsch Atlas HP-2: closed-back, circumaural headphones optimized for a powerful low-frequency response without sacrificing precision. • Klipsch Atlas HP-3: the flagship of the range. These semi-open headphones prioritize a spacious soundstage for audiophile listening at home. Alcantara finishes and a dedicated stand are planned for a launch scheduled for summer 2026. Bluetooth Ecosystem: Auracast arrives. Klipsch will also be updating its best-selling portable speakers with the Music City Series II range. The major new feature is the integration of Auracast technology, allowing music to be streamed to a multitude of speakers simultaneously. There's also an ergonomic improvement with the addition of integrated magnets to attach the speakers to any metallic surface. As for portable speakers (Tabletop category), the iconic The One IV and The Three IV will also adopt Auracast. The Three IV also features a new circular control interface on the front panel, displaying album art and real-time playback information. Klipsch Flexus Element: Home Cinema Comes to the Garden Building on the success of its collaboration with Onkyo, Klipsch is bringing its Flexus concept to outdoor spaces with the Flexus Element soundbar. Fully tropicalized and weather-resistant, it promises to bring "cinema sound" to patios and outdoor areas without the complexity of a built-in installation. Klipsch Reference Premier and Project Apollo: The Future of Home Cinema and Premium Hi-Fi Finally, for the purists, Klipsch offered a glimpse of its future acoustic flagships. Between the new Reference Signature series (see photo above) with its new design and the mysterious "Project Apollo" (see photo below), the brand is hinting at very high-flying performance. These models will utilize new generations of horns and new materials, directly targeting the segment of demanding consumers. A word from Vinny Bonacorsi, Klipsch Chief Operating Officer: Vinny Bonacorsi, Chief Operating Officer, emphasized Klipsch's approach for the next steps: "At Klipsch, the future is based on a very specific promise: to make every moment sound more alive."
