And all glasses become "Smart"...
10.12.2025 • 15h05
Instead of buying Smart Glass, why not transform the pair you already have into glasses of the future?
Smart glasses are apparently the smartphone of tomorrow, and everyone will want a piece of the pie. Based on the premise that there are currently far more "normal" glasses on the market than Smart Glass, the Japanese startup HappyLifeCreators is launching an accessory that transforms your regular glasses into smart glasses. The accessory, The Guide01, already used by the Super Saiyans of Dragon Ball Z… The subject of a successful crowdfunding campaign, the device is called The Guide01 and is reminiscent of the power level detector used by the Super Saiyans of Dragon Ball Z (a little reference for anime fans, it's free, no need to thank us, see image below). This small device attaches to the edge of a pair of glasses and adds a screen that allows you to constantly view a digital overlay on reality. So, enjoy the benefits of GPS navigation, notifications, and other messages without having to take out your smartphone, to which this gadget is naturally connected via Bluetooth. For controls, there's a small touchscreen, but voice commands are also available. The screen is a 624 x 405 pixel color OLED display with a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, offering 90 minutes of battery life. The Guide01 accessory boasts a lightweight design. The battery is rechargeable during use via a charging earpiece, and The Guide01 stands out with its record-breaking featherweight 10 grams. Even adding the weight of your glasses, the whole package should remain under 70g, the same weight as Smart Glass like Ray-Ban Meta. Finally, the suggested retail price should be around 200 euros.
