iPhone 17 Pro disassembled (easily)

The iPhone 17 Pro is relatively easy to disassemble, a real plus for its repairability score. See for yourself in the video.
After using a blowtorch on the iPhone Air, Zack from the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything tackles the disassembly of the iPhone 17 Pro, a device that demonstrates Apple's ongoing efforts to make its devices easier to open (it wasn't a given). This operation reveals a few things, such as the ease of access to key components like the screen and battery, which are separated by a metal plate for added protection. Zack also reveals the very first heat pipe (or vapor chamber) used on an iPhone. This cooling element works with a drop of water sealed inside during manufacturing. When the device overheats, the water evaporates, allowing the component's surface to more easily absorb the excess heat. We also discover, if you didn't already know, small spheres inside the speakers. They allow the sound to bounce back and thus amplify it despite the very small size of this component.
