IFA 25 > Surprise: Hisense announces the U9, the first RGB Mini LED for the general public

Just as we're boarding the Air France flight to Berlin to cover the IFA show as we do every year, Hisense drops a huge piece of news: its first consumer RGB Mini LED TV, the U9.

What we know for the moment is that Hisense is innovating again with [abc]RGB[/abc] Mini [abc]LED[/abc] technology, this time developed in more compact diagonals ranging from 55" to 100 inches. Until now reserved for high-end models, RGB Mini LED suddenly becomes accessible to a new audience, also eager for premium display quality.

The U9 television (whose final design has not yet been revealed) integrates the HiView AI Engine X processor, a sophisticated chip that analyzes and optimizes each image in real time for highly accurate color reproduction, accentuated contrasts and remarkable fluidity, even during scenes with high movement. The AntiReflection Pro technology effectively reduces unwanted reflections, guaranteeing visibility optimal in brightly lit environments, especially near light sources such as windows. The Hisense U9 also features a high refresh rate of 165 Hz to enhance dynamic content (action films, sports, video games, etc.) and significantly reduce motion blur. This specification is all the more interesting since the brand announced during its press conference at IFA that all its televisions equipped with Vidaa 6 and above would benefit from the Xbox Cloud Gaming application from the end of 2025.

The icing on the cake is that the Hisense U9 TV series will be HDR Dolby Vision 2 certified.

The Hisense U9 TV thus offers its RGB Mini LED technology to owners of more compact interiors with five diagonals soon available: 55" (€1,499), 65" (€1,799), 75" (€2,499), 85" (€2,999) and 100" (€4,999). Available from the second quarter of 2026.
