Star Wars The Mandalorian, video game in development

Nothing official, but a video game adapted from the Star Wars series The Mandalorian could be released within a year or two.

Those who assiduously follow the Star Wars series The Mandalorian on Disney+ know its potential to be adapted into a video game. So much so that fans had even created the beginning of a fake game made up of a few tempting screens (photo below) and which was just waiting to become a real title.

Those who remain frustrated by the absence of a real The Mandalorian game can rest assured, because apparently a title adapted from the Star Wars series is in development. This is what the VentureBeat site reveals, information corroborated by Insider Gaming sources. The game is developed by Respawn Entertainment, to whom we already owe the excellent Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and its sequel Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Style and speed in sight££££The game takes place in first-person view and sees the player fulfill his task as a bounty hunter in the shoes of a Mandalorian. The progression is linear (no open world) and the story takes place at a time when the Galactic Empire controls the universe.

Leakers describe the title as focused on style and mobility, allowing the player to move with grace and speed, particularly through the bounty hunter's jetpack. Still in development, the game won't see the light of day for another year or two, at least.
