This situation was recently clarified directly by Xbox executives who, on the one hand, confirm the arrival of new consoles in the near future, on the other hand that four previously exclusive games would soon arrive on Nintendo and Sony machines (titles not yet revealed). Not only is the company continuing in the console business, but it is "truly focused on delivering the biggest technological leap you've ever seen in a generation of hardware," said Sarah Bond, president of Xbox.

And Phil Spencer -CEO of Microsoft Gaming- added: “I am very proud of the work accomplished by the hardware team, not only for this year, but also for the future. We really think about creating machines that players are interested in because of their unique aspects. Unique like a portable console? I'm a big fan of portable consoles, Spencer dodges. I'm a big fan, but nothing to announce yet."
