Grand Theft Auto VI is already breaking records

The trailer for the latest episode of GTA shook the internet so much that it has already broken a few records.

The GTA V game from Rockstar Games was released in 2013 and we will have to wait until 2025 to finally be able to appreciate its sequel. Fans still had something to sink their teeth into (finally!) in the form of a first trailer published on December 5.

Hardly released, this trailer has already broken records, notably that of the greatest number of views for the disclosure of a video game in the space of 24 hours, according to the Guinness Book. As of this writing, the trailer has been viewed more than 110 million times, surpassing Rockstar Games' previous most viewed trailer: GTA V with 101 million.

In addition, the video breaks the YouTube record for the most views for a non-musical video in 24 hours. The previous record was held by a MrBeast video with 59.4 million views, a score achieved in just 13 hours by GTA VI.

The game will be released in 2025 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Later, unspecified, on PC.
