The Slumber Party Massacre: a female slasher, a rarity

Trish (Michelle Michaels) takes advantage of her parents' absence to organize a sleepover with her high school friends. The party turns into a nightmare with the arrival of a psychotic serial killer armed with an electric drill.

1982. The slasher is experiencing its boom period with the success of the Friday the 13th and Halloween franchises. In the wake of these cult films, The Slumber Party Massacre (renamed Bloody Party in France) seizes the codes of the genre and twists them with a caustic sense of humor.

Two women in a mostly male circle
