Panasonic MX950, 55'', 65'' and 75" 4K Ultra HD Mini LED TV 120 Hz and HDMI 2.1

Following our discovery of the Japanese manufacturer's 2023 TV range. After the Panasonic MZ2000 and Panasonic MZ1500 Oled TV series, it's time for the Panasonic MX950, the brand's first Mini LED obedience.

The Panasonic MX950 has three Mini LED Ultra HD 4K references, the Panasonic TX-55MX950 (55'', 140 cm), Panasonic TX-65MX950 (65'', 165 cm, top left in the photo below ) and Panasonic TX-75MX950 (75'', 191cm).

Panasonic MX950 TV, Main Video Specs

Panasonic MX950 televisions of course feature a native 100 Hz VA LCD panel boosted with QLED technology (Quantum Dots nanocrystals) and the HCX Processor AI Pro chip (see below). There is still the management of HDR10, HDR10 + Adaptive, HDR HLG, HDR HLG photo and HDR Dolby Vision, plus ISF and Dolby Vision IQ modes to enjoy an HDR Dolby Vision image that is always perfectly set whatever the surrounding light conditions. For its part, HDR10+ Adaptive technology is an improved version of the HDR10+ format for the best possible image whatever the ambient conditions, dark room or with strong light sources. And even with changing conditions, if the TV is located near a window for example. HDR10+ Adaptive mode uses data from the TV's light sensor to adapt the image to the environment.

Panasonic MX950 TV, HCX Pro AI Processor

As a reminder, the renowned HCX Pro AI Processor is based on Machine Learning technology in order to adapt in real time (analysis of the image every second) the best parameters according to the content displayed. Namely, this Machine Learning process is coupled with a huge image database of more than a million video clips. Of course, the HCX Pro AI Processor chip acts on the sound, again by finely adapting the settings to the nature of the program displayed, film, sport…

Panasonic MX950 TV, sound section

The audio section delivers a total power of 50 W (2 x 15 W + 20 W) and ensures Dolby Atmos compatibility. The connection still has four HDMI inputs, two of which are 2.1 with support for eARC, ALLM, VRR, 4K / 120 and FreeSync Premium functions (via the Game Mode Extreme label). Finally, the Panasonic MX950 televisions offer an adjustable base with the supports placed at the ends of the screen (see second photo below) or more in the center to be in phase with narrower furniture.

In addition to the Game Mode Extreme label (see second photo below), the LX940 screens also have the Game Control Board function (see photo below) for direct access to game-related settings.

Otherwise, we note a DVB-T2, DVB-C and DVB-S2 tuner and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth compatibility (possibility of transmitting sound simultaneously to two compatible devices, for example two headphones).

Panasonic MX950 TV, Smart TV My Home Screen 8.0

The new Smart TV My Home Screen 8.0 function offers the possibility of personalizing the home screen (My Scenary option) with the choice of photos or a video. Panasonic has partnered with LoungV Studio to deliver quality relaxation videos. Access to VOD and content is also made easier thanks to a redesigned graphical interface based on icons representing the devices connected to the television. The same goes for the Netflix, Amazon and YouTube apps. Users can even add frequently watched TV channels directly to the home screen.

Finally, Panasonic MX950 televisions allow voice control of the TV for essential functions, via Google Assistant (Google Home speaker required) or Amazon Alexa (integrated).
