Killers of the Flower Moon, the new Scorsese unveils its trailer before screening tonight in Cannes

Martin Scorsese's 3:30 western, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, is unveiled in a trailer that hints at the full scale of the film.

From the first shots of Killers of the Flower Moon (a scene of jubilation in slow motion), the magnificent sets and historical reconstruction already show breathtaking images. We can guess the scale of the staging and the extraordinary ambition of Martin Scorsese's new film. The promise of a dark and epic western.

Killers of the Flower Moon, ever 2010

Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro play Ernest Burkhart and his uncle William Hale, respectively. The two actors seem particularly involved. Killers of the Flower Moon will mark the tenth collaboration between Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro since their very first film together, Mean Streets, in 1974.

The official synopsis states: “In the 1920s, several members of the Native American Osage tribe in Oklahoma were murdered after finding oil on their land. A series of brutal murders known today as the Reign of Terror. The FBI is investigating”.

First Cannes tonight, then the cinemas on October 18th

This $200 million AppleTV+ production, adapted from David Grann's bestseller, will also be released in cinemas around the world, and from October 18, 2023 in France. Screening tonight at the Cannes Film Festival.
