Drive: Ryan Goslin finally snapped up in 4K on March 8

Drive, Nicolas Winding Refn's stylized thriller, will benefit from a late French 4K Ultra edition coming March 8 under the Wild Side flag.

An ultra-gifted young pilot (Ryan Gosling) lives a double existence: stuntman and mechanic by day, he helps thugs to flee at night. Will the meeting with her neighbor Irene (Carey Mulligan) and her son put an end to her loneliness or is this the beginning of big trouble?

At last

!

Boosted by rave reviews and a cast of solid gold (Bryan Cranston, Albert Brooks, Oscar Isaac, Christina Hendricks and Ron Perlman!), Drive had carved out a modest but solid success in theaters (1.5 million spectators).

The audience and the aura of this very atypical story have since continued to rise thanks to various VOD and video passages. Despite these almost cult fine clothes, Drive had still not had a 4K Ultra HD edition in France, unlike several neighboring countries, including Germany.

HDR Dolby Vision already activated

Wild Side will make up for this oversight with a 4K box set coming March 8th. Note that the appointment is at the beginning of March, and not on September 6 as mentioned in the pre-orders already open.

This 4K edition of Drive should finally make it possible to take advantage of the remastering in 4K with HDR Dolby Vision produced in 2021 for the tenth anniversary of the film's release.
